This tranquil holiday retreat for eight provides the ideal base to explore the beautiful Istrian peninsula. The detached house is arranged over two floors and surrounded by a generous fenced garden. Perfectly set up for alfresco living the garden enjoys; a private swimming pool, sun loungers, an outdoor shower, a BBQ and a covered dining area. There is also a separate terrace with deck chairs and a table with chairs directly outside the house, the perfect place for breakfast or a morning coffee.
Inside, the property has a rustic chalet-style feel with wood-panelled ceilings and walls. The spacious open-plan living space looks out to the garden through a series of French doors and is furnished with a large L-shaped sofa, a flat-screen satellite TV, a dining table and a wood-burning stove (with free logs). This area also incorporates a small kitchen equipped with a cooker hob, an oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, a fridge freezer and a coffee machine.

Quietly situated in the hamlet of Martinčići, the property is a 7-minute drive from the centre of the historic city of Buje and an 11-minute drive from the family-friendly coastal resort of Umag with its charming old town.
With influences, including the Romans, Byzantines, Venetians and Austro-Hungarians, Buje provides a wonderful cultural excursion. In contrast, Umag provides numerous sporting possibilities: from diving, sailing, waterskiing, cycling and hiking to horse-riding, beach volleyball and tennis. Umag also hosts a top-level ATP tennis tournament and the Croatian Open every year. Golfers will find the popular Kempinski Golf Adriatic Club a 20-minute drive away.
