A most beautiful renovated old house, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and forests. It is situated in the vicinity of the town of Umag, on an elevation from which a beautiful view stretches to the sea. It is well-connected and accessible by road but, at the same time, completely isolated. On the ground floor, there is a nicely equipped kitchen (with dishwasher, oven and refrigerator), dining room and lounge with a fireplace. The garden is spacious, 2700 square meters, with two parking spaces. Within the house, there is also a swimming pool with a sunbathing area, summer kitchen with a barbecue and a large table. Summary: My wife, our 9-year-old daughter and I stayed two weeks in this beautiful house in the hills outside Umag, Croatia, and we could not be happier. The house is spacious, tastefully designed and comfortable. The AC works great, the beds provide a solid night's sleep and Neven, the owner, is always helpful. (He also runs the area’s best restaurant and his wife is a superb massage therapist.) I highly recommend a stay in this quiet, well-maintained house where the grass gets cut and the pool cleaned on a regular basis. We also loved the summer kitchen and used it often. We hope to return.
