Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Great little 1-bed house in the countryside. Peaceful location with access to garden, 15 min drive from Pula (20-25 min by bus, bus stop 2 min walk down the road). Large bed and kitchen with a fridge, kettle, microwave, hob and variety of utensils. There were mosquito nets on all of the windows which was super helpful as we were able to keep the windows open (although there is also AC). Very friendly owners who left a local guide book and some leaflets recommending places to visit. There is also a small shop almost next door which appears closed on Google Maps but it's actually open from 7am and can cover most essentials.
Negative: Not necessarily a problem but something that wasn't clear to me before arriving - the house is built in the garden shared with the owners who live in the house right next door - you can see it in the background of the picture. So the entry gate and garden is shared. It wasn't an issue during our stay but could be important to know for someone who wants complete privacy! The fridge was a bit old and very noisy which can disturb lighter sleepers at night but you can close the bedroom door and the noise is almost gone. The bathroom was okay but the shower was a bit old as well - the shower door was slightly faulty and the drain didn't work well sometimes but this was reported to the owners so hopefully gets fixed.
