Positive: The location was super quiet - you could hear a pin drop. The room was large and clean. Honestly, if they could sort out the below issues, it would make it all a very good place to stay.

Negative: There was no-one to receive me despite having sent approximate arrival time. I tried calling and messaging but no answer. I was panicked as it was clear there were no alternative options with it being low season. I took a walk and came back an hour later. Luckily someone was picking something up at the hotel and I was finally able to make contact with the owner - all rather weird. There are no kettle or tea-making facilities in the room which again was really tricky as nothing is open in the village either after 6pm due to low season - so the hotel should make some arrangements for guests to at least be able to make a drink. The bed had two single sheets and thin blankets on a double bed, none of which could be tucked in so this resulted in constant waking for rearranging. The breakfast was basic but ok. Only one single knife provided. I specifically booked because it had a pool which on booking.com said it would be open - but in fact it was empty! In the end, the weather was not for swimming, but the situation is not acceptable - at least update information for guests.
