Summary: We were asked to drive to a different address than the listing. When we got there the property manager told us that the property listed on VRBO was not available due to a boiler issue. The new location was not as nice, and the actual replacement was not as nice either. The one bathroom didn’t flush, the other one sink would not drain. There was no toilet paper in the house, and no hand towels. The property looked like an old communal apartment from the Soviet era (I would know after living in St. Petersburg, Russia for 3 years). The kitchen was not very nice and was sparsely equipped. I asked the property manager to refund a portion of the fees, but have not heard back from him yet. I think I’ll be reaching out to VRBO.
