TECOM or also known as Barsha Heights is a superb location for anyone who wants to have a nice vacation without much buzz that busy places have. It is also connected to Hessa Street and Sheikh Zayed Road that makes other places accessible.
The Dubai Internet City Metro Station is quite near, generally within walking distance. Bus stops are also placed around the community. You can easily go around using public transport or your own car as almost everything is just minutes away, such as Mall of the Emirates, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Media City, Dubai Internet City, Dubai Knowledge Park, Dubai Marina, JLT, JBR, and other high-end and famous places in Dubai.
There are a lot of restaurants and cafes, supermarkets, pharmacies, and salons around Barsha Heights. It’s a community complete with every necessity you may need.
Getting Around:
The parking is available upon request if you have your own ride. Taxis frequent the area and readily available to take you anywhere in Dubai. Uber and Careem are also options if you prefer to book a private ride.
If you enjoy long walks and would like to explore the rest of Dubai through a metro station or a bus, there is a nearby bus stop (around 7 minutes away) where Bus 84, goes to Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai Marina, and others. Bus F31 goes around The Greens, The Springs, and The Meadows. Bus F35, on the other hand, goes to Mall of the Emirates bus station, which is pretty close to the mall itself.
The Dubai Internet City metro station is about 12 minutes away if you’d like to go around Dubai using this famous public transport. If you want to go around JBR, Knowledge Village, Media City, or Marina Mall, you can hop into a tram which is connected to the Dubai train system.
Many things are accessible by foot as well (restaurants, café, salon, basketball court, supermarket, and more).
The fastest and easiest way from DXB and DWC airport are by taxi (30min, 100 AED). The cheapest way from DXB airport is by metro (1 hour, 7.5 AED per person).
