Positive: The inn has a lot of character inside and out and is quite cozy and modernized. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. It had bread, yoghurts, cheese, meats, jams, fruit, baked goods and eggs were prepared by the staff according to your choice. The staff were quite friendly and willing to provide ideas for eating out nearby and places to go in other parts of Slovenia. The bedroom was large and the bed was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was also large, modern, and exceptionally clean! The Inn is quite remote and high up on the mountain, not in a real village, but there are many chalets all around and the ski resort is very close by. The chalet/inn was very clean and there was a bar area where we could have drinks. We were just about the only guests at that time, so it was also very peaceful! It must be very busy in winter as the ski run comes down right beside the property and the lift at the ski resort is a 5-8 minute walk away. Getting up there was on a pretty road with many hairpin turns! It poured rain the next day, so we had to cancel our plan to start a hike from Pohorski Dom to a hut on the mountain where we were to stay overnight. We really enjoyed the location, the quaintness of the inn, the history of the inn, and being able to walk part way down one of the ski runs to a quaint hut/restaurant where a delicious hearty meal was prepared for us. The view down to the valley far below us from there was so beautiful. We really did feel on top of the world!!
