Nomenj is a picturesque village, situated between the Pokljuka Plateau and the Jelovica Plateau, where you will be awakened to the sounds of birds singing and a rooster crowing. As you enter Bohinj (coming from Bled), Nomenj is the first village you will see and it is located halfway between Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj.
The apartments are on the second floor and are completely new. They have two bedrooms each and can accomodate 4 and 4 (+1) people, respectively. The bigger apartment also has a balcony. The kitchens are contemporarily furnished and equipped with all the necessary appliances. They are suitable for individuals, families or small groups. Should you desire, we also have available a baby crib/cot and a high chair for your young ones. On the ground floor, there is a room with a washing machine and a dryer that you can use (charged separately).
The house is surrounded by a big garden, where you can use the grill or sunbathe on the loungers and in the yard we have a wooden garden hut, where you can, during the summer months, hide from the sun rays, relax and gather.
Naturally, we provide free wireless internet (Wi-Fi) and free parking spaces.
Not far from the accommodation is a trail leading to the Nomenj climbing wall/spot. One kilometre away, you will see the Sava Bohinjka river and in its close proximity are the “Hemin plavž” (remains of a 17th century metallurgical plant, but which, according to popular belief, belonged to St Hema) and the Grmečica waterfall, where you can, among other things, experience canyoning (the activity is carried out by a Bled-based company - Altitude Activities). The water itself is in public domain, but the land under and around the waterfall is in the property of the Apartment Rupnik’s owner, which enables you to move freely on and around the site.
There are also a bus and a train station in the accommodation’s close vicinity.
In Bohinjska Bistrica, within 5 km, is the Aquapark and Wellness Bohinj.
The nearest airport - Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport - is located 35 kilometres away from Apartmaji Rupnik.
