The lovely nature with waterfalls and stunning vistas around the house can be explored on hiking and cycling trails, with the closest trails less than a 10-minute drive away. It is a real treat to pick forest fruits, especially blueberries, raspberries, wild strawberries and herbs. During the autumn season, guests can pick mushrooms in the clearing under the house. On walks around the house, admire the diverse flora and fauna of the region, high bogs, and rare settlements with alpine huts where it is recommended to try home-made dairy products from local shepherds like cheese, cottage cheese, whey, milk, sour milk and žganci.
Just an 18-minute drive away is the beautiful Lake Bohinj, ideal for swimming in crystal clear waters and accessing the Triglav National Park. Alternatively, in winter, guests can easily enjoy carefree skiing trips to the Vogel Ski Resort, about the same distance as Lake Bohinj. And if you have some extra time and wish to enjoy some touristy things, then the famous Lake Bled and Vintgar Gorge are also just a 20-minute drive from here.
