This lovely rustical bright house is located in the peaceful, green area, where you can enjoy your privacy and relax, wake up to the morning forest freshness and the sounds of birds singing (various species spotted here daily), but you are still just minutes away from the lively town center with all the attractions.
The Space:
LODGING AND SURROUNDINGS
Mika’s Garden is located in a quiet area at the edge of a forest at the foot of the Straža hill. Here you are surrounded by beautiful nature, remarkable peace and positive energy. You can enjoy your privacy, relax and wake up in the morning to the sound of birds singing. Yet, you are just minutes away from the lively town center with all the attractions: the lake, the castle, shops, restaurants, nightlife, post office, bus station, grocery shop, tourist agencies and car rental. There are also wellness centers nearby. It is just a 15 minute walk to the top of Straža from where there are breathtaking views of the lake and town, the castle and the surrounding mountains. The beautiful forest on top of the hill is also the setting of the Bled Adventure Park, a jogging track with an outside fitness area and a summer sledging track.
For bird lovers- in front of the house, various species daily spotted (Great tit, Blue tit, Longtailed tit, Robin, Goldfinch, Bullfinch, Nuthach, Songtrush, Jay, Goshawk, etc).
The lake provides opportunities for boating and bathing. You can take a trip to the church on the island, walk around the lake or take the little tourist train. With any luck, you may even see the Slovenian Olympic rowing team training or competing.
The house has its own parking place, an indoor fireplace perfect for romantic winter evenings, a HD projector for home cinema (for movies, games, 3D movies, with TV channels and USB connector). In the summertime you can enjoy and relax in a beautiful garden, chill out area with hammocks, herbal garden where you can pick fresh herbs, an outside porch where you can enjoy your meals while listening to the sounds of nature. The house has two bedrooms, a cosy living room with a couch , fireplace and a reading area and home cinema area, a bathroom with shower, hairdryer, towels and a fully equipped kitchen. The tap water at Bled is the best drinkable water from the Slovenian Alps.
