Positive: The staff is absolutely 10/10, and breakfast and coffee are also excellent. Lovely location.

Negative: The hotel design is undeniably interesting and visually appealing. However, it often feels like form was prioritized over function. The reception, dining area, and hallways all follow a modern barn-like aesthetic. The rooms continue this theme—and that’s where we hit a (concrete?) wall. I’m a big fan of industrial chic, but only when the design still serves its purpose. The room was certainly stylish, but… not very practical. Beds: made of OSB wood panels with no slatted base, which makes them quite uncomfortable. The mattress slides left and right, and the two joined beds are a whole horror story on their own 🤣. Shower: placed in its own separate little room, roughly 70×130 cm. There’s no place to hang clothes or towels, and the door leaked—just a minor inconvenience, but still noticeable. Electrical setup: most lights are “add-ons,” basically various lamps with their own cords and switches, which feels more improvised than intentional.
