Positive: This is a really special little house, hidden away in the national park. It's about 45 minutes' walk (10 minutes' drive) from Stara Fuzina, and the same distance to the Mostrica waterfall. It was a little more remote than we were expecting (stock up with food before you arrive), but we really enjoyed the peace, quiet and privacy. Electricity is provided by solar power and there is plenty for charging phones, etc. There is no WiFi or television, so you have to switch off and enjoy nature. Everything else is gas powered (cooking, hot water, fridge, etc). It teaches you not to waste resources. There's a woodburner for warmth and an outdoor fire pit, which we enjoyed cooking on. The garden is lovely and private + there's an outdoor shower (as well as an indoor one). Overall we found the house very comfortable and perfect for our family of 4. We loved our stay and would definitely come back.

Negative: We were confused about how to find the property and got a bit lost as it's up a little track not visible from the road! It's best to phone the owner when you arrive in Stara Fuzina and she will accompany you to the house and give you a pass for the national park barrier. The lights in the kitchen/lounge stopped working while we were there, so we went to bed when it got dark - but we didn't mind!
