Positive: The hosts are friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Met us at the ferry, assisted with luggage and more. Simply put, they’re nice people (all the family), who were a pleasure to meet. The property was tidy, spacious; which in our opinion is better than what the advertisement presented. View from a roomy balcony is great, with a brilliant sunset view. The main room is a great open space and the bedrooms are comfortable. Air conditioning in main bedroom and main room, though the other bedroom had a fan, but it didn’t seem to suffer too much without air con. I would very much recommend a stay here and would happily go back to stay there. The island itself is very nice. The town beach is quite pleasant in its own right, with a nice little main sandy area and other little areas where you can get in the sea, with sand under foot. The beach on the other side of island is very good, clear and shallow, with enough facilities. Though getting to this beach is quite an effort if thinking of walking it, so getting a golf buggy taxi is really the only option, unless you’re up for a hike. This is where a negative of staying on the island occurs. A five minute buggy ride was 20 kuna p/p, each way. Family of four is then 160 kuna for the day. The locals running them are doing well out of this little business! Then umbrella with two loungers were either 200 kuna or 150 kuna if you go further left direction (our choice, made no difference to enjoying the beach). Good restaurants generally, with Peggy’s worth the choice for us if had to pick, when thinking of an average budget. Though go and pre book day beforehand, as limited seats, but the view and the good food (at said reasonable prices) is worth the booking.

Negative: Nothing to dislike with the property. :-) Recommend buying as much food and drink as you can take when on the mainland, as the little supermarkets prices on the island do have quite a mark up. Found the second supermarket (furthest from port) cheaper than the larger one nearer to where first row of restaurants are. Some restaurants maybe also are a bit costly, (that being pending your budget though). The golf buggy taxi cost did start to niggle by third trip!

Summary: Brilliant property, friendly owners. Island nice, great main beach.
