Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Fantastic location in the heart of upper Istria. Close to wineries, medieval towns and coastal cities. Amazing refurbished farmhouse set in forested hills, with comfortable rooms. Wonderful family-style breakfast included. Anna, Matt and staff have created a lovely, B&B experience to base from while you explore the "Tuscany of Croatia". Dinners available on Wed and Sat and are highly recommended. We loved our dinner with staff and guests.

Negative: Our room did not have an ensuite bath, requiring a trip out thru the hall close to stairs to the kitchen which was always manned. Also, some staff used our bath for showering, which was mentioned to us upon check-in. Not our ideal situation.

Summary: Already planning on bringing family or friends to this location in the years ahead.
