Positive: This place is fantastic!! We didn’t want to stay in tourist heavy Split, so we ended up in Slatine and I’m so glad we did. This property is in a great location, walking distance to the port, where you can easily get to Split and Trogir. There’s lots of great beaches on Slatine as well. Davor was the best host. We arrived from the airport at 7.30am because we had such an early flight. He let us into the communal kitchen, gave us drinks. And worked so hard to have our room ready 2 hours before check in. He was always up for a chat, and gave great recommendations. The property was clean and spacious. We absolutely loved it. One of the highlights of our trip.

Negative: Be mindful, there’s no cabs on Slatine, and we didn’t rent a car (our mistake, we just didn’t think to). So we were a slave to the bus timetable if we wanted to go somewhere not walking distance. Buses only come every 1.5 to 2 hours, but as long as you planned your time it was definitely doable. You can also walk pretty much everywhere from this property but be aware Slatine is a giant hill 😂

Summary: Would definitely recommend!
