Positive: Our stay here felt like we were visiting a relative who provided us a place to stay in a cozy and private part of her home (host lives upstairs). The apartment was very well equipped and fresh eggs from her chickens, herbs, bread, yogurt and endless pods for the coffee machine (there's tea too of course), a bottle of Slovenian wine were provided for our stay. All the small touches were there - e.g. there were enough hooks to hang your jackets at the front door and toilets, clothes drying rack was available and even kitchen was fully equipped. We never felt like anything was missing. The host welcomed us warmly on our first day and we were lucky to be able to try her delicious home made kobariški štrukelj dessert on our last night! Location wise, Kobarid is a small, charming town in the Soca Valley and everything is just a few mins walk away from the apartment - e.g. the marvellous restaurant (Hisa Polonka) where we returned for dinner 3 nights in a row to the supermarket to the start of the Kobarid Historical Trail. It was also near to Bovec where we went for kayaking one morning in the stunning Soca River. We really enjoyed our stay here as it provided us an opportunity to recharge in such a beautiful environment with great food and drinks, opportunities to bask in the gorgeous nature and to learn about the history of the area.

Negative: We were sad to leave and hope to return one day.
